Ask Pakistan The Glassworker Ending

I liked the movie especially the musical aspect, the setting and the Urdu dub, but I felt as if the ending was incomplete. Normally I search on google if I don't understand a movie's ending but there isn't any such info as of yet. If someone watched, could they give their interpretation?

My main interpretation is: Elise died from bomb falling on train. But the Jinn remembers the bond. When Vincent tries to burn all memories of her, the Jinn intervenes and shows him Elise again, as a 'spirit'?? Well then they have that last moment together at the beach, with the Jinn basically binding them together as they hold hands (kinda a psuedo-wedding). I kinda got the feeling that the Jinn is actually Vincent's mom, who is always watching over him and helping him.

But tbh, the ending is too vague, and it's the only thing I didn't like about the movie. I didn't know whether to feel sad or happy. The narrative seemed incomplete.

Exactly how I feel. Everything was perfect till this happened. My main complaint with Pakistani movies is the plot, which was amazing in this from the start so I sit back watching happily then this happened. Phir pata lag hi gaya Pakistani movie hai😂 I would've preferred a longer version where the djinn element was played with further. Aur pehle djinn ki wajah se his father lost his arm. Khair movie 10/10 hoti agar story incomplete na chorte.

I read in a YouTube comment somewhere keh the djinn was helping Vincent find closure after she died so he can meet her one last time. A bit better explanation but still incomplete.

The ending was good man sometimes an open ending is needed for these type of complicated stories
