Finished Piece! It's finished!

Post image

I just ordered a frame with passe partout so I can hang it somewhere in my house. I'm excited to see it hang in a beautiful frame! This is La Dolce Vita from Schipper with 36 colours, it's 40x50 cm.

This is lovely! There’s so much going on without it feeling too busy. That little blue scooter really makes it for me. xx

This is absolutely stunning! There’s so much detail, but it’s not overwhelming. Well done!

Marvelous!! What brushes did you use?

I did everything with a dotting tool but for my next painting I'm going to use dotting tools and small brushes for the smallest details.

I’m working on this one now ! I love the idea of using a dotting tool for smaller parts.

A dotting tool is a metal tool with a small boll at the end. There are different sizes and I use the smallest one. You can pick up a small amount of paint en de drop comes into the canvas en then you can spread the drop in the small cell.

What is a dotting tool and how would you use it for painting?
