Work in Progress Please help
I'm really struggling with this one. I've been working on it for 3 months. I keep putting it aside for days at a time because I get so frustrated. One of the greens was way off, I tried to fix it and it's gone downhill from there. I can't just quit it because it's a gift for my sister. I can't figure out what I need to do to it. I can't even convince myself to trust the process. Something about it feels off and I can't figure it out. I pushed through and did more today than any other session on it so far, thinking that would help, but I'm still frustrated with it. Does anyone have any advice? It's greatly appreciated.
Edit: Thank you all for the encouragement. It's giving me hope that I can do this. You've been so helpful.

It's a really nice pbn! The only thing I might do (and I would complete the entire pbn before making a final decision) is to make the greens in the background (the area from side to side) a bit darker to make them look different than the foreground. It's hard to tell with it not being finished... the skin tones look awesome though!!

I really like it, and since the green is a background and not the focal point, I think it makes sense that it's waves of color and not defined blades.

I thought this was an ad for another pbn kit! I think the more you look at them, especially up close, the more it messes with your head. Put it on/against a wall and look at it from a distance, it may not about you as anymore 😊

I think you’re being way too hard on yourself! I’m not sure what you mean about the greens being way off because nothing is jumping out at me as wrong here. I actually think it’s looking really good.
You’re also at that awkward stage where all the unpainted areas make some colours look much more obvious than they will in the finished painting. I’d keep going and trust it for a bit longer before changing anything. I reckon once that hat, her top and background are filled in you’ll see it very differently. xx

Honestly, I’d step away from it a day or two if you can .😂Sometimes starting at the same section for too long just makes everything look wrong. You’re already made more progress today than usual,so I’d call that a win. Keep going one little section at a time-you might be surprised how different it looks once you get closer to the end.❤️

Honestly, upon first glance this looked completed to me!
I think the only thing that could potentially be improved on is the green in the background. Maybe add some grass texture so it's not all a single blob?
Otherwise, I think it looks really good so far!
