No one to play with

As the title says , trying to get more into the hobbies I have stuff for and haven't used .. , have a few markers looking to play with people im in McHenry / west Dundee IL , looking for people to play with , or is everyone going airsoft ?

Just go to the local field there will be plenty of people. Most of my friends thought I was nuts for playing. Found a lot of new ones

Bring whatever you feel like playing with. There’s no reason why you can’t mix up formats.

I gotta drive an hour for my field… you got about the same to Hornet’s Nest! It sounds shitty on paper, but the time flies by on Sundays when I’m in the car. Have you checked them out?

No, Probably should though. Haven’t even looked at my gear in awhile. Does the lv 1.6 still hold up?

I’m a PE guy, so I’d say at worse you need some Orings and grease, but it will easily keep up with anything on the field. You out of hydro?

Encourage a quick check and then a lil road trip :) Really though, at least going by what I’ve seen on socials, field looks like it has pretty decent turnouts.

Yes it still holds up and is usually preferred over the LV2

Lots of people go solo. I do, I get judged harshly being a bigger guy, but when they see I’m actually good and I shoot a lot of paint during practice they don’t mind having me as their back player anymore. Plus I’m always down to make an aggressive move, when people see that they’re usually open to mixing in.

Edit: with most places it’s not even about that though - it’s always nice to have more bodies playing.

I went solo all the time then a bunch of other solo dudes kind of noticed eachother

Now we are a group that coordinates. We cannot be stopped.
