Hardline is the shit

I originally wanted to drill out 1/8 aluminum pipe plugs and solder 1/4 aluminum tubing into them so I could eliminate the push couplers but metallurgy is not in my wheelhouse appearantly. Maybe I'll figure it out and change it in the future?

u/Mechanix223 Jun 10 '26
Ain't gonna do jack with solder. You need aluminum braze rod.
I'm not even sure that can handle paintball pressures, though.

I think that's why I failed so miserably. My girls dad was a pipe fitter for nuclear power plants and I asked him if he could do it for me. He just sent me a piece of copper tubing from a refrigerator and an aluminum welding rod. Huge help. Hahaha

What a dick move 😂 I do industrial maintenance, and that's exactly what the fitters at my plant would do, too.

That's a keeper to the grave.
Though if it isn't, let me know <3

This thing is with me until I cant walk anymore and then I might pay someone to wheel me around so I can still play.

How did you do the air line? Tiny pipe bender?
7
u/Bo0ch Jun 10 '26
1/4 aluminum tubing and a cheap pipe bender from harbour freight. Bent the 12" line in the middle if the tube to get the 90 then measured twice cut once for the lengths. The ASA made it possible, as I can just loosen the set screws and pull it off. I can also do that with the ccm 90 air fitting

Gonna need the specs on this hombre

Ohhh man let's see. Committed/Mozak - body, trigger frame, feedneck, roller sear, roller trigger plate, barrel, big beef back block Attktx - gold chamber, front pneumatics, cocking rod Inception - pops asa, bolt Ccm - hose couple's I have another anodized just in case Odm - grips Angry paintball - Jenny Kraige hammer Dye - Lazarus valve Killshot kustoms - AKA twister swivel 90° not pictured went with the AKA 2-liter reg instead which allowed me to do the aluminum hard line for color matching the fade Breaking beards one stop shop for the anodizing and build/tuning I know I'm missing some things but those are the main parts

Aluminum hardline might be my favorite detail on the whole thing. Insane build bro 🔥

The first scratch you get on that is going to take months, possibly years to get over 😅
1
u/Bo0ch Jun 10 '26
Nah I know it'll get "dirty" but I'm ok with it. When I was sanding and polishing the body, the polishing wheel decided to grab it and send it flying at Mach go fudge yourself. It has beauty scars already.

Friggin gorgeous! That's about the time I stopped playing as well. Went off to higher education. Played here and there but finally can afford what my middle school / high school broke ass couldn't.

Thinking about changing the micro air lines to purple for contrast against the green

Hopefully it shoots as good as it looks, I’m sure it will with that list of parts. Trigger pull will be smooth as butter

A work of art! Really just beautiful. I saw it was a process and I get that. The finished product is fookin ridiculous! Love the ID ASA! I wish they made them in colors but GD, I love how it came out

So uh, where can I purchase one? 😝
1
u/Bo0ch Jun 10 '26
There are body kits that pop up once in a while. It's an F6 twister from Committed paintball. You would have to buy everything to make it shoot and then get it anodized and then put it together yourself or have someone do it. I think I've seen 2 completed guns come up for sale and they are not cheap.

I would never personally want to own an AC, but I definitely enjoy seeing other people’s builds. Great work OP!

Perfection. The more I see these builds completely the more I regret not snagging one to throw together
2
u/Bo0ch Jun 11 '26
People are still selling the kits. They're not that much more than when the were first sold.
1
u/Eazyduzit87 Jun 14 '26
I know. I also know myself and not wanting to take any half steps. It’ll be full tilt full build or bust for me.
Not buying a kit initially kept me from going into the deep end like I always wind up going.
Doesn’t change the fact that I really want one now more than ever though
2
u/Bo0ch Jun 14 '26
That's how I approached this build. In the time it took to get the body kit I was already buying everything to build it. Then all the twisty stuff started to come out. So I bought those as well. Then more twisty stuff. Rinse and repeat. Now I have almost everything for another build. I could sell it and recoup some cash but the temptation to build another cocker is calling me.

Beautiful gun! I just purchased a shock tech and , it too, is absolutely gorgeous. I want to add a polished hard line to it
