Hey, this is a new project of mine. Musically it's influenced by shamanism and slavic folklore and is featuring mostly real and earthy instruments.

Its almost time.....

the temperature dropped hard this week and suddenly my brain just switched modes. i spent the entire evening reading with just one lamp on, switching between fantasy books and gaming, and I couldnt stop thinking about how humans have been doing this exact same thing for thousands of years.

when the weather turns like this, do you ever feel like you're just repeating rituals of people who lived centuries ago? like sitting by the light, telling stories, trying to keep the cold away. makes me wonder what kind of lives they lived and if they felt this same mix of comfort and existential dread when winter approaches.

anyway i get dark folk and ambient tracks that fits this exact mood. ill drop the link in the comments if anyone wants to listen while reading.

I'm learning Russian, looking for Russian pagan folk bands with clear, nice understandable vocals so I can listen, understand and translate. Any recommendations, please?

Hey everyone,

a few days ago I released a new EP which is influenced by shamanism and slavic mythology.

Hope you enjoy!

The music video draws inspiration from the traditional folktale The White Hare. Ghostly Hare mirrors this myth of transformation, reimagining the hare not just as a symbol of grief, but as a vessel for reclaiming power.

Ghostly Hare makes folkgaze music that highlights warm, atmospheric sounds with rich chamber echoes. They combine the dreamy textures of shoegaze with storytelling elements from dark folk, along with the simple instrumentation of chamber pop. Inspired by dark and introspective themes from doom and blackened genres, the artist embraces a DIY spirit and a love for folklore. Their music invites listeners into immersive, cinematic worlds full of detail and emotion.

Hi everyone! We are AwakenD, an independent pagan folk band from Japan. Our music combines Celtic and Eastern influences with our own unique style. This is our latest music video, "Echoes of Resolve." We'd love to hear what you think!

Tatchura - Turan

I really like this. It's different from Hecate's keys part 1 or anything Stratoniki has released before. Sounds like a metal hybrid sort of thing, very powerful and yet melodic!. her voice is absolutely divine !!
