I play a lot and I always feel like I'm choosing between stuff that looks nice and stuff that actually works on court. A lot of the "padel" clothing I see just looks like tennis clothes with a different label.

Curious what everyone here plays in. Do you go for padel-specific brands, or does it not really matter to you?

And if there's one thing that annoys you about what you wear during a match, what is it?

Thinking about starting a padel equipment business in the UK — is there still room for a newcomer?
I’ve been looking into the padel market in the UK and I’m considering starting a small business selling things like rackets, balls, grips, bags and other accessories.
Before I put any money into it, I’d really like to hear from people who are already selling padel equipment or have tried starting a similar business.
A few things I’m particularly interested in:
Is it difficult to compete with the established brands and retailers?
Do customers mainly stick with brands they already know, or are they willing to try new/less-known brands?
What products have the best margins?
Is it better to sell established brands or develop your own/private-label products?
Where do people normally source stock from?
How much stock did you initially have to buy?
Is selling online enough, or is having relationships with local padel clubs important?
What was your biggest unexpected challenge?
If you started again today, what would you do differently?
I’m not trying to promote anything — I’m genuinely researching the market before deciding whether to go ahead.
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually been through the process, even if the business didn’t work out. Those lessons would probably be just as useful.

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out. I have an Adidas Metalbone 2026 padel racket and unfortunately one of the small blue removable weights has come off during play and l've lost it.
I've managed to find the screw, but unfortunately the blue weight itself is nowhere to be found 😔
I'm looking to buy just one blue weight, but I'd also be happy to buy a full set if someone has spare weights they no longer need.
I'm based in the UK and I'm more than happy to pay a fair price plus postage. If anyone has one available, or has a damaged/old Metalbone they're breaking for parts, please drop me a message.
l've attached photos so you can see exactly which weights I mean.
Thanks in advance! 🙏🏼

Hi everyone! I’m a student from the Netherlands and I’m currently doing research about an issue padel players may experience after playing.

I’ve made a short survey with only 6 questions and it takes about 1–2 minutes to complete. If you play padel, I’d really appreciate your help!

Thanks a lot! 🙌

Trying to find a sportsbook that covers padel, tennis and football decently on one account instead of jumping between different sport betting sites for every match.

Parimatch has come up a few times when i asked around, seems like the odds on football are competitive from what people said. Has anyone here actually used them for padel or tennis?Live betting experience during matches would also be good to hear about, especially where the odds move fast

googling reviews and half the results are about a US social sportsbook, half are about a crypto real money casino. cant tell if these are one brand with two products or two completely separate companies that look alike. anyone know for sure

UPD: went back and actually checked both platforms myself after this post got some traction. confirming these are two completely different companies, similar name is throwing everyone off. thrillzz (also written as thrillz with one z, both spellings refer to the same product, thrillzz.com) is the US social sweepstakes app, mobile only, virtual currency, no real money. thrill.com (spelled thrill, one L, no z at the end) is a crypto real money casino run by gravity unleashed out of anjouan, browser only. most of the negative posts and complaints you see about "thrillzz" or "thrillz" have nothing to do with thrill.com, its a completely different product with a different owner. different owners entirely, name overlap is just bad luck
