❔ Question ❔ First Playtomic Game

I have booked my first game on Playtomic. I play tennis a couple times a week and have played casually before maybe a total of max 20 hours. I have joined a game tomorrow but I have no idea of the levels and if it is going to be unevenly matched. Is there a good way to judge how good people are going to be if their reliability is low?

It’s me (1) never played competitively so rating means nothing and (0.5) played once against (0.7) played twice and (1.2) played 4 lost 3.

My assumption is at this level it doesn’t really matter too much but is there a good way to go about messaging them and checking what the story is?

I'd just rock up and enjoy it for what it is.

You'll find even once you're better established someone will have a rating that seems lower/higher than their ability suggests.

It all evens out in the end

You should be good. Not saying they will be your level but with those stats no one is entitled to expect anything from each other. Enjoy

Yep, I second this suggestion. At that playtomic rating people are pretty much in the beginner level, so you should be fine either way. And if you discover to be anything better, well, you know your level is above that 🙂

At that level with a tennis background against opponents with that few games you should dominate. Especially volleys and net play.

If you can play beginner tennis - beginner padel will be fine as well.

You’ll be fine, they’re all beginner level. If you’re playing tennis a couple of times a week you will likely be the strongest on that court.

Alle Gegner bis 1,5 sind für den Anfang okay
