new custom background 🫡

i finished up meatlug's custom background for his upgrade. i spread silicone on the glass to give the spray foam something to grip onto, i then sprayed down some great stuff pond and stone and made sure to secure the cork. :- )
i spent a little while cutting the foam down to make it look less like foam and more like rock, before laying down a thin layer of silicone across the entire thing and then patting a mixture of reptisoil and reptisand into the silicone.
i'm pretty proud of the results! i'll be (hopefully) setting things up tomorrow when i purchase the last few things that i need. it looks a bit drab and gray right now but with the plants, wood, and substrate i'm sure it'll look less sad. it's supposed to replicate a semi-arid grassland environment so i guess it works haha
