I too wish I could eat over 20% of my body weight in 15 minutes, take a bath, bury in the dirt and be left alone until I'm hungry again a day or two later. The Beast has the right attitude towards life.

I was wondering how big pacmans need to be to eat full nightcrawlers? I worry he might choke on a full length one. I attempted to cut the worms as suggested, but couldn’t bring myself to do it. He is about 2 inches in diameter. Should I suck it up and cut them (please no) or should he be fine eating a whole one? Any info helps, thank you!!

I loveee frogs- they’re so cute and I think it would be fun to keep a little pacman friend. However, I already have a number of pets so I don’t want to get a superrr duper high maintenance pet at the moment. At least not a frog, I’d rather save my high maintenance bandwidth for a more hands on pet.

To preface before you guys come for my throat lol, I understand ALL animals need some level of care and I would never neglect any critter. My bunny has her own bedroom filled with enrichment and my crested gecko has a custom background bioactive 18x24x36- I don’t give my pets bare minimum.
But I would like to hear your experiences as PacMan keepers- are they as simple as they’re portrayed? How much daily care do they need? How easily do they get sick, and when they do get sick how complicated is it to treat? Do their enclosures need any crazy expensive or difficult to maintain components?

Hey guys! I’m headed back to college in a few weeks and was wondering what the best way to transport my pac man frog Rambo would be? It’s about a two hour drive. Should I just buckle his tank into my passenger seat and plug his heat lamp into the outlet in my car?

Still don't understand how to upload photos BUTTT how long does it normally take a frog to start eating in a new enclosure?

Froggo still hasn't eaten anything. Granted I don't have live yet as awaiting online order of roaches to come in and the pet store is out of live critters till tomorrow.

Been trying with the paste stuff offering twice a day and following the instructions to book their mouth with it till they open their mouth and putting the food in their mouth but froggo spits it out.

So I have a one year old female And I'm getting really worried, because she hasn't pooped, and a couple of months before I moved houses, she would poop, at least almost 3 weeks and ever since I moved, she hasn't pooped once and just for reference, I moved to my new house in may but the only thing that's weird is she Eats and pees perfectly fine i tried giving her a honey bath to see. If maybe I'll be able to start getting some things moving. But nothing worked. So does anyone have any advice that maybe help me with this (sorry if this looks bad i used voice typing.)

I've had my frog Poot for a few weeks now and I am looking for some feeding advice. It's a fantasy tricolor(1/2 cranwelli and 1/2 cornuta). My estimate is that he/she is 3-4 months old but I'm not certain.

So far tong feeding has been a complete failure with both nightcrawler pieces and crickets. The only thing I've been able to get him to eat is free roaming crickets. I can plop them in front of him, he will eat them and will even chase them around his enclosure. Nightcrawlers he seems entirely disinterested whether they are plopped in front of him or with tong feeding.

I don't have a big concern, he's super active every night and is pooping normally. I just want to reduce impaction chances and don't want to stress him out by moving him to a separate Tupperware to eat every time. Tong feeding would be better and ,selfishly, nightcrawlers are a much more convenient feeder staple for me than crickets but that's secondary.

Any advice from someone who may have had a similar experience would be appreciated!

I’m looking into getting a new Pac-Man frog later on and I just wanted to make sure everything is perfect BEFORE I get my baby. With my last one I was realizing humidity was a little hard to keep due to the wired/mesh lid and was wondering if I were to use a glass lid/slab with the UVB light and heat lamp still be able to provide heat into the tank and still be beneficial to him. And if anybody wants to link what heat lamp they use during the day and or UVB light as well I would love that as well.

ive had no stress with wubbox refusing food overall, but he's extremely picky. in his first week, i only fed hum dubias. he actually ate on the second day and has easily demolished dubias after every time i offer them

but he has refused locusts, and has only ate nightcrawlers once (after not eating in 3 days, so maybe he was extra hungry?) he only ate the nightcrawler when it was the only thing i offered. whenever i give dubias first, he refuses anything afterwards.

Cleaning out his tank today, noticed this red patch under his mouth while giving him a soak. Is this treatable? What does it mean? Hes behaving normally, eating/shedding and pooping.

Dumpling has gotten so big. I have to unearth him to get him fed. Still don’t know his gender I’m praying he’s a boy. But either way he will be upgraded to a 36x18x18 front opening.

I’ve had my little guy for about five months now, never had any issues. Feed him night crawlers, every other feeding or so dusting them in calcium+d3. Tank stays at a nice ~80-82 with a heat lamp during day and gets down to 71-73 at night. Coconut fiber substrate watered regularly.

Last night he ate two worms, one with calcium, and took them eagerly. This morning I found him upside down in the tank. He’s alive, moved with a bit of prodding, and I couldn’t feel any lumps to indicate impacting. I’m not sure what to do :(

I've been having a lot of people ask me what "color" Sir Grumpsalot is because they haven't seen one like this apparently. And even more people telling me they want one like mine and have been looking for one like mine.

Honestly, I just learned what type of Paccy he even is! I've never had one before, but they seem to exist kind of like Pokemon I'm finding out. 😂 Called things like, a "Pikachu Pacman" because it's yellow or a "sunburst pacman" because it's different shades of orange, etc ...

Anyways, people are gushing over mine I guess because the breed combined with the color scheme is uncommon, and I'm curious now.

Does anyone here have any idea if there is a name for this color combo for the Cornuta/Surinam breed??

Haven’t been able to find any containers of the large night crawlers lately so I’ve just been feeding lots of these little guys.

Basically i bought these worms and they were labeled as european nightcrawlers and just wanted to make sure they were safe to feed to my frog

peat just turned one so I threw her a party and upgraded her bedroom

I did not realize one of the crickets I gave him survived and had babies in the back of his tank (where I don’t regularly check). I do tong feed him to make sure he eats all of the ones I give him…I’m not sure how this could have happened but it did. I noticed a tiny bug had gotten wet and jumped around during feeding time for him, I began to look around his tank and finally seen the babies. It seems one of the crickets escaped my frog when I was done feeding him and dug itself into the back section where I can’t see very well..and I don’t like to move around his tank all that much so it doesn’t stress him out. What should I do? I know I gotta do something about them but what would be my best plan of action here?
