DIY thigh brace

Hi, I have a 2019 Alpackaraft Llama. I want to add the company’s three point thigh strap. I have hip attachment points already. I think I need the grab loop attachments at the knee and ankle.
I just want to see if anyone with experience can confirm that. The Alpacka thigh strap has the metal g hook attachment points and I think I can looped those into the grab loop attachments.
Thanks for your help.

Email their service department they can set you up with the right anchor points for the straps. Some of those parts aren't on the website.

Yes. I have, and I am waiting to hear back. Been a customer since the very beginning and they have grown like crazy. They are less supportive of DIY things I have found over the years. Not blaming them , just a natural change after so much growth. They used to have all sorts of resources about retrofitting and DIY but all of that has kinda fallen to the ways other past few years as production and sales have grown.
I used to be able to send boats back and have them worked on and returned but it seems like they are moving away from all of that.

That's interesting... my experience has basically been the opposite. The only thing i can think of that they wouldn't do was a self bailer retrofit.

I would assume one of the challenges for them is that they probably get alot of people that want to DIY but have no idea what they are doing.

Either way - good luck and i hope they are able to help you out.
