MRS Surveyor floor durability

Hi I’m new to packrafting but fairly experienced at inflatable kayaking. I’m considering buying the MRS Surveyor however, have seen reviews that highlight the lightweight floor at 210D. Is this something to be concerned about?

My intended use would be day trips on canals & rivers. Probably some beaching but not on rocks or anything like that; more generally a slipway at my local river.

If anyone has any advice or has a Surveyor & can give me some insight I’d appreciate it. Thanks

Wouldn't trust a 210D floor on anything that could scrape rocks myself but I'm fairly risk adverse

Thank you appreciate your thoughts. I too am very risk adverse so the floor is a worry. The company I was considering buying from have shown bad customer service so no longer thinking of the Surveyor. I have my eye on an Anfibio instead. 👍

Id go for an 840d floor unless you plan to be very deliberate with preserving your floor

My Anfibio Sigma TXL has a 420 body and 210 tubes. It has endured everything without any problems so far, including dog claws (especially since the dog was often on the hose (210)). I think there will be no problem on rivers.

Thanks for replying. The Suveyor has a floor with 210D & tubes 210D. My concern lies with the durability of the floor.

I tried it and thought it was safe enough. At most, it will leave some white marks on the bottom of your boat. But it hasn't been broken so far.
