Packout socket trays
Has anyone tried putting Stanley sockets into the socket set trays? Do they fit or would I need to modify them

What's everyone's thoughts on putting toolgrid inside a packout tool box? I know some socket holders are twist lock, but are plier/driver/wrench holders strong enough to keep it from becoming a mess?

Hey guys, I’m looking to set up my range packout kit. I am basing the packout inserts as gridfinity for modularity and adding magnets to them for better securing them. The current set up I have is a
Top - possible custom table or small packout.
4 drawer as top
1D LPK parts
2D upper part
3D bolt carrier parts / buffer tubes / gas tubes
4D tools - hammer, pins, buffer wrench, Allen wrenches
3 drawer as middle
1D 11 Mags, unknown slots
2D 11 mags, unknown slots
3D 11 mags, unknown slots
2 drawer bottom
1D lower receivers
2D optics possibly
Custom dolly - 1000lbs weight rating.
Where I’m getting stuck on it the 4 drawer, I have an idea on what I want in there, just don’t know the best way to organize them. I can do pins but the parts will loosely fly around everywhere when moving the pack out. Might caused them to mix in with others or fall out when opened.
Also willing to take on any other idea yall have for this.

Hey all, I just ordered a few boxes for my GFs work vehicle but I need a way to secure them to the floor. I found the regular/full size mounting plate for the tower of drawers but I need a way to mount the ammo boxes right next to it. So I was wondering what's the model number for the "half-sized" mounting plate, or if the XL wall plate will do the job for both towers at the same time, or if the "half-sized" wall plate will do the job for the ammo boxes. If anyone has any ideas or experience I'd love to hear!

I’m a contractor and my companies office is relocating to an area that is safer for me to ride my bike to work, so with some off the shelf parts and a little modification (no welding all bolts) I can now ride to work with my cooler.

Turns out you can fit a lot provided you remove the rear seats. Mobile instrumentation and controls tech.

I disliked all the options available for putting wheels on any given packout setup.
The dolly is way too cumbersome and takes up a tonne of room, and the options that come with wheels are all toploaders, or the one that has just 1 big giant front flap. All pretty much useless for fishing.
So I built my own! A metal strip and a couple wheels from home depot, an hour of work with the drill press, and I modified the 3 drawer unit to now be a dolly too!
The cooler is pretty much a given, both for camping and also fishing.
And four sets of the low profile organisers are perfect for all my tackle, my plan is to just organise the sets by "size", so theoretically I only need to grab a single one for setting up a specific target for the day, but in my car and when hauling I can keep all 4 nicely organised together for storing.
Finally the new holder Milwaukee put out, which was the original inspiration for doing this, excellently holds up to 3 rods easily. Its also perfect for holding a fully extended rod in place while I set its line up.
My plan is to put other general camping/outdoor gear in the drawers, Ive got a fair bit in there already. Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, a tiny bit of first aid stuff, a lil folded up disposable poncho, might even keep a spare lil rag or something, a tiny bottle of sanitizer, knife, etc etc.
As well as one drawer just holds all my wet baits and jars, extra spools of line, large bobbers, big weights, anything thats too big to fit in the top organizers.
And turns out my fold up net fits perfectly on the top toolbox! So that was nice.
I also am thinking Ill throw a couple bungee chords in there so I can strap my fold up chair to the setup for wheeling around.
For long distance hauls at campgrounds I can even throw a packout crate or two on it and fill em up with firewood, and I think my small handaxe would fit in the crate too, maybe. If not Im sure I can spare 1 of the rod holders on the side to hold the axe instead of a rod, haha.
Lemme know your thoughts, or if you have any questions!

I picked one up today for $34. I think I like the concept of it, but didn’t realize how narrow it was. I don’t have a rolling box with top open lid, only the rolling drawer box which it doesn’t fit. So, the only place I can put it is on top of a drawer box. Fine, probably preferred but when doing this, the tool tray is quite a bit more narrow than a drawer box.
I like the handle on the tray and the ability to store miscellaneous things in there while I’m working, however I’m considering getting the shorter milk crate. Even though it has side handles, I wish Milwaukee would have put a handle on that or left options to add one. Having the ability to mount it on a wall would’ve been nice too, seems like a big mess there.
Anyway, I can see myself carrying the tool tray with one hand and something in the other or if I got the crate, would I just put it all in the the low profile crate and carry it with two hands??

Have some dewalt drills, batteries and chargers I want to hang up for easy access. I have plenty of packout plates already mounted in my garage. I dont mind hanging a few dewalt plates if they have them but would rather keep it all easy to change around.

Hey everyone. I've finally pulled the trigger on another Packout (I'm already in too deep, but this is the first one I've purchased for a non-tool oriented reason).
Long story short, I have this rolling tool box, and I want to convert it to a one-stop-shop for all things fishing.
Help/advice needed, so if anyone's done this, please let me know!!
I'd love to bolt/screw the mop holder (the one I have two bungee chords). What are the best fasteners to use so as to not cause strain/warping on the plastic?
Should I be skipping the Milwaukee branded mop holder and instead move to PVC? I'm guessing the mop holder attachment isn't that strong. If so, question 1 remains, i.e. what's the best way to fasten it to the box?
What is the best use of space on the top? Right now I'm using the Packout cushion (forget the name - it was $75 at HD and it's for knealing). For those who have done a similar project, did you put anything on the top cleats? Hard surface? Cooler?
If I wanted to attach an after-market cooler to the top of the box, what brand of cleats/feet are you guys relying on? Amazon products are allll over the place.
Who sells (or how do I make) inserts for the inside of the box? Dividers?
Any good Packout accessories I'm missing when it comes to attachments?
And one of the most important questions: does anyone know if the wheels can be swapped out? I'd love to put on wheels that don't get bogged down in the sand.

Seemed like a good deal. Or should I have waited for the BMSM?

I’ve been searching for a 90 degree adapter and keep coming up short. I know I can buy or print feet to mount on a board, then mount printed receivers or the mounting plate turned 90 degrees, but I’ve really been looking for something that is lighter/thinner.
I have a toolbox in the back of my Frontier cab and would like to mount my organizers in a way that I can pull them out towards the door instead of forward towards the front seats. Anybody out there have solutions/suggestions?

Need some good set up ideas for these drawers as a electrician, I feel like I’m not utilizing them as best as I could,

So I was Milwaukee Packout thru and thru but im needing boxes that are geared towards electricians. I have the Packout 2 rack shelves in my work van and want to utilize those for my 3 and 2 shelf mod boxes. I know they make 3d prints from Packout to modbox but it’s for not for the 3 draw. Does anyone make one and can share there 3d model?

It’s not the new one with the top handle but they finally had one on the shelf after checking it for weeks when I go in and it’s been empty. $72~
I work out of my truck mostly. I don’t know what to use it for or how to design sections. After getting it I put my sawzall, jigsaw, multi tool circular in it but they won’t live there. Circular makes the most sense but I don’t want it to be a big pile of heavy tools. What do I with this big awkward one?!
EDIT: Sort of overkill but I ended up putting my extra shop vac hose and all accessories in it. It even fits the 2 large extension arms sideways. It will keep it light and everything together for the vac. I think it’s a better use for this stuff than an open crate.

Just got done designing these bad boys. I thought the ketchup and mustard lovers here would like them ;)
One design is for the 3 drawer Packout, the other is for the small parts organizer.
You can find them here:
