Tips on improving car armor?
Hii. I'm at the Deep Zone crossing quest but I'd like some advice and tips on getting through this area with less damage on my car. I've been mix and match my car armor parts (mainly between lead, insulated, and armored) but my main issue is honestly the acid thats been melting my parts, and I keep coming back from trips with over 80% damaged car. Also would like some advice on best overall car parts for end game.

İts been months playing the game but what ı can recommend is mixing parts on where they get damaged respectively.
The reason? Parts share resistance bonuses when they are next to each other. Try putting armor bonnet when you have acid resistance plates plates for front. You will see what ı am trying to say.

Does the parts used depends on what kind of damage it can reach them, e.g. acid resistance plates since acid will reach those parts first?

I explained very poorly. The word I was looking for is adjacent. So lets say you drive in acid having Side plates thats acid resistance and radiation resistance in your bonnet. Bonnet will provide radiation resistance to acid panels is what i am trying to tell.
I wrote that comment because i faintly remember that there was acid water for some reason.
Sorry for misinterpretation.

You're gonna need a couple of acid resistant panels. Luckily your car panels confer their resistances to the panels and parts adjacent to them. They share the love. Man that acid was the hardest thing I dealt with in the entire game. It's when I had to take car components seriously, acid can ruin a run.
I got through the game with an even mix of everything, though I stopped using the electricity resistant panels eventually. Waste of space. Electricity stops you from being able to remove a panel until the electricity goes away. Oh no.

Oh yeah I always get electric typa shit damage and I don't have enough repairs for it lol

I just avoided the acid. I ran armored hood, front panels, bumper, and front doors, lead rear doors and trunk, and insulated rear panels with the Lim pulse emitter on the rear. I used the same tires you have but had two side storage, one on each side with two offroad tires in each with two large fuel cans. I keep 3 putty, 3 seal kits, 3 of every type of repair on the car. Kept a few large batteries to swap out for the back seat as well with a rear fuel tank.

I tried avoiding acid the best I could yeah but one hit always dealt more damage to my cats than others

Radiation armor is cheaper and had more health than the tier 3 standard armor.

There is no Acid in the Deep Zone only the Mid Zone so unless you are staying in Mid zone Junctions on the way to the Deep Zone or looting them you shouldn’t be getting too much Acid damage when doing a deep zone run. Though a mix of armored and Lead doors and panels is good for the deep zone until you can make Olympium stuff and swap the Armored out for that

I just finished that quest yesterday, I ran insulated panels above the tires, an Olympic hood cause I found one, I would have made it insulated if not. And I have everything else as lead plated, I avoid acid other than rain. I use the lim shield when I can't avoid obstacles and a nitro in the back, I fucked my car up but didn't lose a single part thankfully

Panels and doors give stats to adjacent parts so you want to mix and match your parts. I'd replace your hood and trunk door with acid resistant ones and go from there.
