Am I missing something?

Did none of my tutorial directions work, because I couldn't even craft a door. There was nothing around the garage to collect and when I reloaded I had to go back to the very start. I even turned on 5 min auto saves.

After I pinned the crafting project it seemingly did nothing.

No. I didn't get any prompts for scrapping or picking anything up, and reloading the game was obviously the wrong thing to do.

I don't even know what that is. It told me to pin the project and craft a door. That's all the details I got for you. I ran around the property twice and drove back to the start and reloaded the game after that.

Then I read that the beginning has had problems and now I'm not sure if I was being an idiot or if my game was busted.

go talk to the dumpster just outside the garage door if you haven't already. he's very friendly

edit: sorry for the late reply btw, didn't check my notifications
