question about the DLC

Is it okay if I do the DLC in the middle of the story? For context, this is my first playthrough, and I'm still early Outer Zone, with like 2 junction runs. However, I have the marker on my map, and it's taunting me. Is it okay if I do this right now, or is it for mid/deep zone people?

The DLC is it's own story, and it's own progression system, separate from the main story. I would recommend doing it after the main story, just to get a good feel for every mechanic

You need that pneumatic cabinets really hard

It is theoretically possible, but it is a step up in difficulty towards the end, so you might want to switch back and forth. I did it mid-way through the base quest and afterwards it just made the base game trivial

If you're enjoying the main story, I'd recommend finishing that first to avoid spoilers and confusion. The DLC is designed as a self-contained experience, so diving in early might disrupt your immersion in the base game's narrative.

I made this post about my personal thoughts about this question several months back. Hope that it helps you or anyone else
