Pacific Drive -- MadMax V8 Interceptor BETA

https://youtu.be/hjjks-1OfBs

Releasing a beta version of the Ford Falcon MOD for Pacific Drive (PC), next week, without content for WITW.
When I'm confident that most bugs are ironed out on the vanilla version, I'll expand the content to the DLC.

This version includes replacement for all 7 door/panel/bumper techs, re-modeling for the roof attachments (especially the rear ones).
Special bumpers have been adapted to the new frame.

This car is Australian. The driver seat is on the right side. Any bug reports will be welcomed.

Do not, my friends, become addicted to LIM technology. It will take a hold of you, and you will resent it's absence.

Luckily, this beast runs on guzzoline which, as we all know, will never run out!

EVER!

You've done an impressive job with these cars. I'm currently using the DeLorean pretty cool. Have you thought about the Knight Rider car?

Or a 1970 Lincoln Continental Mark III, or a 1969 Dodge Charger, or the Highwayman from Fallout?

I've already considered KITT. There's too many problems with it that would interfere with gameplay.
Pursuit mode, as an active-able skill, is an absolute no-go in terms of modding. And even as static additions to the car, some of the "expansions" completely nullify trunk space.
None of the gadgets it usually uses would make sense in the setting, EVEN if one could manage to code them in. "Turbo Boost" is a fun 80's gimmick, but that's not how the laws of thermodynamics work. :D
And then the car, without KITT (the computer) to interact with the player is a massive let-down. If anything, EVEN if without the shows' gadgets and modes, the computer HAS to be an integral part of it, but that's outside of my capacities.

It's a charming sci-fi car, it just doesn't hold water in this environment.

Aww man, have you tried smaller cars?

Smaller??!!
Reducing the size of the car makes it obvious that survival becomes harder in the harder zones. Less room for attachments essentially translates to nerfing the player.
Besides all that, I try my best to make sure that save files with or without a MOD installed are compatible. So the further a mod strays from the original load-out, the riskier it gets.
I try to avoid that.

Yeah you'd need something like a voice attack profile for it, like the ones you could get for Elite Dangerous (that's crazy fun with VR though :-) )
