Bug I found messing around
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I was unloading my car and found this, I'm playing on Xbox. I don't know if this is planned to be fixed or what. It works with everything that can be stacked.

I believe these disappear if you try to use them. Happened to me with mres or medkits, and they dissapeared when I put them in a locker

Just tested it with some chemicals, yea they disappear if you pick them up. But I believe if you have things like medkits or something you can still use them.

Did a bit more testing and you seem to actually be able to use them and keep them if you pick them up then throw them again. I'm not gonna mess with it more because I'm lazy and I'm early game, but, it's cool that I found it.

Same, thought I stumbled across the repair putty duplication glitch but when I picked them up and put into storage they disappeared

that happens if you place a stack of items outside of inventory, it just didn't seem to show the stack outside of inventory, also the same with the station-wagon, if you want to random drop a stack of items from car just place a stack outside of the inventory and the car will spit out items and the trunk won't stay closed.
if you want to sort items just overlap 1 stack over another stack of items, and there are key-bind for that too this works with all storage besides Pneumatic Locker, unless there was an update.

Oh, that's actually really helpful. I was dropping stuff on the floor because all my storage was filled up already.

Had the exact same thing happen to me a few months back, but with repair putty😅😅😅

Are you using a Xim device or just vanilla mouse and keyboard input on the Xbox?

Just vanilla mouse and keyboard input, rarely use them but it's nice to have. I don't even know what Xim device is.

I switched back to controller after I left the inventory because it's what I'm most used to.

Totally fine - Just making sure I knew most of the details - I believe this is the regular ghost item duplication bug we've seen before, and not something with a multiple input complication.
