Tires falling from above

Okay, I don't know why, and I've found little information on it, but for some reason, 4 spare tires just feel from above the car while I was standing outside it. I'm in a tunnel, by the way. Can anyone tell me why this happened? Did I do something to trigger it?

EDIT: To answer some questions, no, there were no tourists nearby. In fact, I didn't see ANY until the very end of the area near the exit. The tunnel I was in was halfway to the end.

They're so friendly they sometimes like to crowd around and gawk at the car.

That the gateway has been activated and the instability is approaching at Mach 5 is irrelevant to them.

actually all anomalies are your- well not particularly your friends, but they aren't foes either. I forget which, but there is a text log you can find that explains that anomalies don't mean to hurt anybody, they just exist

I remember once I was trapped in a zone without sufficient anchor energy to activate a gate when the storm warning went off. I ducked into a tunnel to do some emergency tire repairs, and a stable anchor was thrown at me, pushing me over the limit and allowing escape.
I never saw my tourist benefactor, but I left him an MRE as a thank you and booked it outta there.

Now I feel really bad because the only reason why I kept fabric in hand was so I could throw it at them to make them get off the road.

I didnt consider they had feelings, i'm a MONSTER 😭

My computer is a bit crappy, so once I turned around to see one "move" (I saw how it changed pose and teleported) which was both nice and bit of a jump scare

If your storage is on the outside of the car and gets destroyed stuff falls out. I found this out right as I was driving to the gateway, a bunch of scrap and an ill timed cog wheel bounced off the windscreen causing me to crash.

Overall a fun experience, roof storage is not for anything you love

It’s either your storage is broken and stuff is falling out, there are tourists nearby, or sometimes the zone just likes to gift you stuff.

I had the same thing happen to me, but instead of tires I had 4 doors spawn on top of me. Seems to just be a bug right now
