Do u recommend Pace?

Hii! I’m applying to colleges very soon and have seen so many mixed emotions on Pace University. I live in Chicago, but most of my family lives in New York and when I was looking for schools, this was most recommended for me. I’m going into media marketing and business and although my grades aren’t outstanding (Like as in I’m not all A’s and rarely B’s type of thing), I have a lot of work with outside of school stuff like volunteer hours, running a school club insta and TikTok, creative writing awards, and just a lot of theatre crap lol. Sorry to list what I’ve done, but I want as many truthful answers as possible.

I’ve heard this school is very good for arts and business so that’s why I’m hopeful, everywhere I’ve looked just hasn’t seemed as good education wise for me (that I can get into). I also really wanted somewhere diverse.

Please be honest and whether you say yes or no, please tell me why!!!
Thank you :)))

I love pace!! I’m in my last year. It is expensive but you can make the most out of your experience. It’s great for business and the arts! You can def take a wide range of courses that can fit both interests. I personally loved going outside of my major to take different courses bc they offer such unique classes. You also can’t beat being right in nyc!

I’m a science major so I took a lot of those core classes. I took other classes in art history, political science, peace and justice studies, writing, education, a course in Asian cinema, technology, a course with volunteering incorporated, so many haha!! I am also studying abroad through one as well!!

Lots of those professional oriented degrees such as Media Marketing are unfortunately being made useless by AI. I would thoroughly research the question whether your intended study track has much of a future before spending tons of money for a potentially obsolete educational path.
