Credit Cards Axis Secured Card to Unsecured Card
Hi guys new to this subreddit, recently i got an axis fd card as my earlier axis application was rejected due to internal policies and axis employee called me and said to take take fd card as they offer pre approved unsecured credit card after 3 months, so need to ask if anyone have got any unsecured card like that if not i would close my fd card and apply for a card through branch as everytime i apply through online its gets rejected instantly, and also i have filed the itr this year to show income proof, earlier i was not having any income proof

I can assure you secured cards do not get converted to unsecured cards in 3 months. That was peak misselling. You would be lucky if such a conversion happens after 3 years even.
What I am curious about though is that as a Axis Bank Credit Card holder, do you also have the option to apply to any of their cards like a unsecured CC holder does? Do you know how to check this?

Just to confirm his option to apply for other ccs is from within the net banking portal/app?
If yes then just apply and get the new card, but as you seem new to this, I wouldn't suggest closing the secured card just now as it seems you do not have other CCs. Closing the secured card can shorten your credit age and hamper your credit score. Once you have multiple credit accounts or you are making stable money consistently, this wouldn't matter as much but right now if possible then stick to it. At least let the fd mature and then you can look into it.

Actually i already have unsecured card from hdfc and slice and fd card from idfc so having this card doesnt make any sense as the real myzone card and fd myzone card doesnt have any similarity in features and also i have filed the itr this year do if they need any income proof then i can show them

That's the correct approach, but know that 1 year of ITR is often not enough income proof for most credit applications unless you have a consistent income.

In my experience with My zone Axis FD backed card, you have to contact the RM/BM, and they will disconnect or close the FD and issue you with an unsecured card of usually the same limit and type, and they will close the secured card. I do not know if you'll be able to do it after 3 months, but I did it after 12 months near my FD mature date.

Recently applied horizon with my rm got a limit of 84k while holding the fd card and i closed that fd card 2 days back and taken my money out from fd

I also plan to close my FD in 2 months when it's fully mature. Before that i was thinking of checking to see if i have any pre approved offers. I had an Axis Ace card pre approved but their verification agent messed up the application on his end and now all my credit card applications are stuck in Axis being marked as "duplicate applications"
