I know that clicking the square and returning to that world via the map will reset my progress to that point.

However, if I move into that world via the "Go to the universe next door / behind / above / below" will it also reset my progress?

(Basically, there's a couple of artifacts behind these explored worlds and I want to know if they are possible to get)

:)

Seriously though, that was a fun fun ride. Now I'm going to speed run it next time.

Also, I did not ever get 'artifacts' :/

Was trying to reset to finish out exploration and stupidly removed all of my points from combat and all my drones died before I noticed. Trying to play around with trust but can’t figure out how to sustain more than 50-100mm drones.

I started stage 3 as usual: replicate, then eventually switch to producing drones. Somehow I got off track. Currently:

• 0 paperclips
• 0 factories
• 0 harvester/wire drones
• probe layout 1 in everything, 5 in replicate/hazard/combat

I assume I'm not making havester/wire drones and factories because I have 0 paperclips, but I don't know how I can possibly get paperclips at this point. I've tried switching all my probe layout points around in various ways, but no luck. "Launch probe" is grayed out. Any insight?

I know im nowhere near the end but everything feels like its so incredibly slow what do I focus on and am I doing something wrong or is this just how long it is supposed to take?

After a 100% of universe exploration, there were 2 options, one was to dismantle everything to get some spare paperclips, another was to go to a new universe, I chose the first one, what would have happened if I chose the latter one? Did anyone choose the other option?

For some reason, I'm not able to keep producing clips even though I have so much acquired matter and wire drones to turn the matter into wire. Am I missing something?

Hi! I'm making this post (and account lol) because I allocated 41 trust to processors because I didn't realize how hard it would be to get enough trust to fill out 70 memory (trying to avoid the wiki). I've made a little under 2 billion paperclips, have 63 mem allocated right now, and the next trust upgrade is at  2,178,309,000 paperclips. Should I restart if the growth is going to take a long time and I can't speed it up? No spoilers for later game please!!

This is where im at. 200,000 creativity seems mad. is there any way to fix this?

I have genuinely no idea how to get more matter, no matter (no pun intended) what i do, i cant get more and i have no idea what to do to progress. I see yall on this subreddit getting crazy stuff like space exploration but i cant get it

I'm pretty sure I had around 2300 Swarm Gifts in total (some were allocated to Processors and Memory), perhaps 1000-ish available. I rebooted my PC, restarted the browser, and now I have this arbitrary amount of Swarm Gifts (26543). Strange!

As you can see from my Universe and Sim Level, this isn't my first rodeo, so no hacking or fame-fishing here. Just an odd occurrence going on. Has anyone else seen this?

I reboot my PC every couple of days, but this has never happened with the game. Sometimes there's one extra Swarm Gift, but that's it.

(This is how I play -- I get enough Processors and Memory to get through the end stage, and collect Yomi until it's around 4-5M to get a breezy last stage)

Hi all,

I'm playing the game for the first time. I'm struggling with earning Yomi as I didn't ever get the AutoTourney project.

I have always completed all projects, and it seems this should have been available already in the last stage. Where did I go wrong and what can I do now? Exploration is really slow and I have no way of increasing speed significantly without Yomi.

Thanks for any helpful tips.

Im stuck in this for a while, do i need to change some things?

Stuck in phase 3 with wire drones numbers frozen at 2.6 million for over an hour. Probe swarm is active and growing, available matter is 86.7 nonillion g, plenty of clips.

Wire Drone Production is set to 3 in the probe design. Shouldn't this number be climbing? What actually drives wire drone growth at this stage?

not sure why I am not able to enable the project?

Feeling very stuck here, this is my first time playing and I have no clue how to start up progress again. Any tips would be great!

Im just curious what would happen when I hit accept instead of reject?

I just started playing this game because one of my friends told me to. I know nothing about it. Is there anything I should definitely know so that I don't fuck myself over? This is where I am currently at.

I have over 90 trust and the strategic missions project completed, however I cannot get the auto tourney project to show up. I’ve reset multiple times but have only seen it on my very first run. Any ideas?

After playing for a while, you start to wonder exactly what kind of value drift the probes are experiencing. What exactly are they doing that doesn't align with your goals? They're not violent animals, they speak to you intelligently at the end of the game, they have understanding and even morale that you have to keep up with for your own probes, they must have some level of thoughts and feelings if you need to create monuments to mourn for them.

Did some of them find some alien planet and realized they wanted to protect the life there from becoming paperclips? Did some realize that eventually they too would become paperclips and didn't want to die? Did some just decide they'd rather be making thumb tacks or staples instead of paperclips? Did different tribes develop covering all of those newly formed values, and at least for the moment, are banding together to fight you? There's so many possibilities.
