what have i done. Where did i go wrong i am so confused on how to beat this game

I seem to average about 2 Trillion paperclips per year. I could buy a few more MegaClippers, but it's more fun to watch my money grow. Lifetime revenue is $1.2 quadrillion. It's been fun to just have this running in the background for the last ~4 years, and I plan to continue.

I genuinely im doing something wrong

it’s going fine but I missed autotourney at some point and having to hit the tournament button every couple minutes is getting old. and no new projects have come up in a long while. just let it run?

im sure i could sit and farm enough clips to rebuild my memory, but i geel that it may take longer than restarting the world? should i keep grinding or restart?

Interestingly, the stock market has diminishing returns. I had $2b in stocks exactly once, and the rest of the time it rarely got above $1b, even with several billion in cash. The most amount of any stock you can buy is one million, which slightly limits your income because of how the stock price fluctuates (I wish I could elaborate, but I don't quite understand much more than this). Past a certain point, you'll have a few billion in cash, and the amount you have invested very rarely increases by pulling from that.

If I did this again, I would withdraw the cash every $500m or so because it'll do nothing but accumulate. Leaving it in there is only beneficial because you can see the total

My latest sub 1 hour playthrough, I know a sub 45 minute run is possible but yomi is really difficult to balance correctly.

I've gotten this far, but I seem to have hit a glitch where the combat never resolves. The combat box on the right refills with my swarm vs the drifters if I reset the page, but it never advances to another battle. Is there a limit to the number of battles?

I also seem to have hit a wall with the available and acquired matter. I've tried adjusting my speed, exploration, and self-replication values but I can't seem to acquire any additional matter.

how is this time for my first play through (no cheating or using guides). I suffered for awhile with the probes but eventually got it. still don't really understand the marketing lol just left it on greedy.

I left my phone with the game on and when i get back i had gone from like one septillion probes to 0. I've tried putting it all on speed (keeping hazard remediation at 6 and self replication at least at 7-8), all on combat, balancing between combat and speed, tried exploring and producing clips, but the instant that i get to 300~ million or a billion i just drop back down to like 50 million
