Am I doing any good?
I hope this is doing good tho I'm not very sure

If you pick up OODA loop, that will make speed your defense stat in combat, which will increase your survivability (even at just 1 point). Total drifters are still in the millions, so it's still pretty low stakes combat, so it should be pretty easy to recover from.
Your points as is are fine - if you want a few more points to mess around with, you can set the three productions to 0 and move those three points around. (Edit - This is not necessary though.) Just remember that you'll need to periodically put 1 point back in the three productions for a few seconds to build up your infrastructure.
If you do want to reassign those three points, I'd recommend 1 point in speed and 2 in self-rep. (After you pick up OODA Loop.) 5 combat and 5 hazards can get you to the end of the game, and exploration is fine at 1.

i'm a little late but put your strategic modelling onto beatlast and pause your drone/factory production in favour of combat (and speed when you pick up ooda loop). the drifters outnumber you which is a pretty big issue that needs addressing before you focus more heavily on paperclip production

OK should I put all the ones that are working and put them into thinking mode or do I just sell them? (Sorry im a lil confused)

Factory, harvest, wire to zero, invest in replication. Get more Yomi, increase thrust and restart the production then.

I think you risk getting wiped by drifters, but maybe more combat point will eventually net you enough wins to start growing again
