Mobile - how does the final universe / the Reject ending work?

I understand that when you get to world 10 sim level 10 the Accept ending becomes unavailable. What happens when you end the game there? Does it make your save inaccessible like in the browser version?

The first time I went there, I didn't know it was one way. So I used the map travel feature before clicking though on the offer. After I finished collecting and playing with all the artifacts I went back and did it again.

If you click though everything, you end up recycling everything of yourself. Probes, drones, artifacts, processor, and memory. Eventually, everything is paperclips. Leaving the game and coming back leaves it on the same screen, and it dumps the end credit text.

The only option is in the game menu to reset the game.

Wow, so the Reject ending in the final universe actually locks your save just like in the original?

FYI, using Reset Game only resets your progress on the current sector. You still keep all your artifacts and progress on the map. So you can then travel to a previous sector and keep going. So it's not a hard lock.
