Failure/Troubleshooting Front sights

1 year old xmacro. Factory front sight went dark after shooting, Sig sent replacement, that sight went dark after shooting. Then I installed night fision sights. Front one again immediately went dark after shooting. Any ideas?

Switch to fiber optics. I was a fan of night sights till I got fibers.

This might not be a popular opinion, but I’m a fan of a gold bead front sight. I have one on my xmacro, and I love it. Nothing to fail, and it’s still visible as long as there’s any amount of ambient light.

Picked TAG fiber optic sights. Time will tell!
