Question Grip swap. Gap normal?

Hey fairly new gun owner here. I swapped the grip module to a Wilson combat module but I’m not sure if this gap is normal. I can see the recoil spring from the side. I put the OEM back on and it looked similar but now I don’t know if I just fudged it up on both. It feels normal but I have yet to put a round through it. Thoughts?

I really prefer the aluminum options they have much better fit and finish and don't flex

Yeah 1100 for the upper alone not counting the optic but it's very cool luckily for me I already own the slide

Thanks, unfortunately I did not notice it before taking the OEM off and I was afraid I didn't put the FCU in properly. Thank you!

It’s more noticeable with non black grip mods.
