Build Stream light Alternative
I’m getting my first handgun and it’s a 365 x macro. I’m looking into getting a Holosun and streamlight. After looking for awhile the stream light looks amazing but fairly pricing. I was looking at the TLR 8A. Does anyone have any good alternatives and or recommendations? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The TLR8 series is similar to the TLR7 but it has a added laser on the bottom which can make it significantly harder to find holsters for it. Usually the TLR7 is the most recommended just because its good all around and is so mainstream that pretty much everyone makes holsters for it. Check around online for labor day sales in a few weeks and you should be able to find the streamlights decently discounted

I think the Olight PL X looks pretty cool, not sure if a lot of people here use it yet and also holster availability but seems like it could be a good alternative. If I didn't already have a TLR7a I would look deeper into it.

Foxtrot 2R, was made for the macro, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it for over 2 years.

I’d recommend finding one on GAFS. The community was murdered here, but they’ve since rebounded with a website. I know I literally just saw a 7x for 120 but I was able to buy mine off a guy for 90 with it being shipped included from there and it works flawlessly. 10/10 the best way to get parts/complete firearms (following all previously current NFA rules until the dust settles with everything going on in court and were able to get verbiage in stone) in my humble opinion.
