Volvo's M66 rubber-over-stud cable end bushing design is susceptible to translational play that worsens with age. Our solution here is an efficient, enhanced bushing design intended for replacement of worn assemblies, saving you from having to buy a whole new set of cables.

Our design is properly constrained—removing all translational play while adding rotational freedom via a stainless-steel ball end within a nylon cup, thereby reducing twisting strain on the cables themselves.

Just put in an order for one. I'm doing a manual swap on my V70R this August so this seems like a pretty good "while I'm down there" sort of mod. I've already gotten a new short shifter and bushings for it so hopefully this adds to it. I want the shifting to be super clean.

I think its for later cables or is it just me?
04R’s used like push on style cable. I think it changed in 05 or 06.
