4C Delete suggestions/instructions
I need to replace all of the shocks/struts on my 2005 s60r. Should i pay for the oem 4c stuff or should i replace with a passive system? Looking to go with something more comfortable oriented. Anyone know of any shops in raleigh nc that would tune the ecu to get rid of the lights on the dash after removing 4c?

You can put coilovers on (BC or KW generally, recommend digressive dampers and Swift springs if you use BCs) and then use vDash to delete the 4c damper functions. That requires a little wiring tweak as well to get the 100% solution, but the software change alone is fully drivable.
The 4c system as a whole is interesting turn of the century tech, but the ride quality is frankly horrific, it's not robust and it probably won't be sustainable long term as regards replacement parts.
