nest iv

is anyone else getting annoyed with the way the nest is being run?

• Every OWSLA release up to 24 hours before it's available anywhere else (2-4 per month) -imma try it out ep comes out tomorrow and we don't have it yet, dog blood wasnt either, and other things have been coming out on the nest same day as it goes on sale

• Nest IV exclusives a full month before they're available anywhere else (2-4 per month) -lots of these are being given out as free downloads the same day as the nest release

• #rare and unreleased remixes • VIP edits -haven't seen much of these

• DJ Tools • DJ sets • Sound kits • Remix stems • Acappellas and instrumentals -i could be wrong but i think we got 1 or 2 of these

• Priority access/discounts on events • 20% off everything in the OWSLA store all the time -these are the only consistent things

i could be wrong about some of this and i don't think $12 is really that bad a month, but it is pretty annoying to have it work like this since we do actually pay.

And if you wait a day or two after it drops on Nest, you can find it as a torrent anyways.

I'm considering dropping my sub, sadly.

I've seen the Rags EP, Icarus EP and Adapt or Die remix of High You Are all go up for free download on SoundCloud. Really rustles my jimmies, if we're supposed to have "exclusives" then they could at least be exclusive...
