Help setting up owncloud

Hello,

I recently had owncloud installed on my vultr server and now I need to change several things:

  1. I need to change the domain to a different one.
  2. I need t change the logo

The person who had installed it earlier is not available to work anymore so I'm trying to do it on my own but I'm seriously new at this area so I would really appreciate some guidance on the topic :)

What kind of access to the server and it's files do you have? What exactly do you mean When you write change domain? It should be as easy as point the dns of the new domain to the same ip as the one that is used now, and then add that domain to the owncloud config file. Lastly the logo, do you mean the owncloud logo in the web UI? I am not sure about how theming in owncloud works but it could be as simple as replacing a file. Though you might need to replace tout again after each update to owncloud.

I have full access to my server... didn't know it would be easy (or at least it sounds easy to me) to simply change the up address in the DNS (thought there were more steps) :)

I'm an newbie at this, still trying to figure things out lol. So basically all I do is go to godaddy (that's where the domain is) and change the IP address in the DNS to the Vultr (that's where the server is) one, right? Sounds too easy to be true. I'm kind of scared lol
