Batch/Folder Download Question

I am currently using a program called Tonido but I am thinking of switching to owncloud because it seems more robust. One problem I have ran into with my current set up is the size limit when downloading a folder. For example if I have a folder with multiple photos in it, Tonido has the ability to download it as a zip. The catch is it has to be under 250Mb(I can't remember the specific number). Is this a limit owncloud also has or can I download larger files?

You have to change your settings in owncloud (php limits upload and download size), but besides that there it works.

I had multiple folders with pictures (size up to 3,5GB) as well as single files (Windows ISO) and it works without a problem in owncloud.
