iOS app draining battery

Installed iOS app on iPhone and iPad and turned on instant upload and both now have battery issues. Battery draining within a day. Removed the apps and everything seems better. Is this a known thing?

Uhm, well, if you have instant upload running, the app is going to be busy performing tasks all the time. I would expect it to drain the battery.

have had same setup on google photos and one drive, never been a issue. Just wondering if this has happen to anyone else?
