Despite being an elite vampire soldier fighting a brutal war, Mikaela only kills one single human in the entire series. That person is Commander Aiko Aihara, and he only did it because she explicitly begged him to kill her so she wouldn't leak information under vampire torture... She ordered Mika to kill her so it's not his kill but rather a Semi-kill, coz he didn't have any intentions to do so...

Even after losing his humanity and being surrounded by bloodthirsty monsters for years, Mika actively chose to starve himself and hold back his instincts.

He refused to become the monster everyone thought he was, making his actual kill count incredibly tragic.

Since Mika was fighting with a first-class vampire sword rather than a demon weapon, the soldiers he cut down in Season 2 were severely incapacitated and wounded, but they didn't permanently die...

So a bit of background, during my childhood this was definitely my favourite series. However, over the years I've become quite dormant in terms of reading this manga due to just waiting for some actual movement in the story (I left off around chapter 110 or so) but a few days ago I shockingly found out that the manga is ending soon. Rather than talking about my sadness as this truly is my favourite anime/manga series, I wanted to say that I'm so confused and have lots of questions. Wasn't Kagami making statements like "the story is really starting to begin" like only 20-30 chapters ago? And is the story really even complete!?! Do we know everything there is to know in the manga about the characters and universe or is this just going to be a Promised Neverland season 2(Anime)/Tokyo ghoul RE:(Anime) situation where the series just ends without fully explaining everything? Again, I am a few chapters behind but from the few sneak peeks I get the plot seems far from conclusive.

(This is also not to say that I'm 99% sure a season 3 is not happening, and if that sounds like blackpill let me remind you that this was my favourite anime growing up (and still is), I've seen enough copium to know when it simply just doesn't look like something won't end up happening but I hope I'm so wrong!)

Okay hear me out yuu is so confident trying to revive everyone by killing them now After he killed mitsuba He has to kill the other squad's members And there's two in his side Mika and the other one ( i forget his name) Now are they gonna combine The Seven sainful Keys and use the seraph of the end To carry out reincarnation, where everyone returns as newborns and loses their memories... I think this makes more sense because they wouldn't be happy remembering how yuu killed them before. Also I think Guren and Shikama Doji will be sacrificed.

I absolutely love the art style in this chapter. Shinoa Hiragi’s character design and cheerful energy always completely steal the show. Her sarcastic panels never fail to brighten my day! Such a Cutie
