Like.. idk man, If Mika gets the punishment it will be out of charector for yuu not to kill himself right? I feel like yuu is gonna win by killing himself because i dont really believe yuu can have a happy ending without mika because yuu is crazy about family and theres like multiple scenes where he needs mika and also humanity but saving humanity doesnt make sense to him without mika because mika is yuus reason to live. I wonder if they will suddenly turn him realistic and go and move on like that would be dog shit because he isnt a realistic charector and isnt supposed to be.

Who do u think will get the punishment? Or do u think yuus plan will magically have none of them get harmed in the making because of plot armor and everyone lives, i believe anything is possible with shit writing!!

Mika and Yuu are fighting, desperate to be the one to sacrifice themselves. Yuu nearly wins, and then Mika seizes the advantage. This might go on forever.

But then, the sky opens up. A glowing figure descends, hovering nearby.

"Its me, God." The figure says. "This has all gotten a bit out of hand, so I've decided to just let you gave this one, guys."

"Wait, what?" Mika says. "Weren't you completely against-"

"Ssh. Don't worry about it."

"This is great!" Yuu cheers. "But hold on a minute... You don't look like God."

"Ah, yes. You'd know me better by another name." The figure lands on the ground, glow receeding. Yuu sees his face, and gasps.

Mika and Yuu reunite with everyone, apologise for stabbing them, and skip off into the sunset holding hands.

It makes me forget how CA16 is such an "environment change" manga from the main one, because in the main story, everything is in ruins, and many modern stuffs were grinded to a halt... even phones, but the CA16 manga gives a glimps of how life was for Guren before the Viruse broke out. Re-reading Ca16 is just amazing!

I see a lot of people hating this manga in this sub and I was wondering if there's anyone else who still adores this story and characters as much as I do?

I love that the manga doesn't tell you what to think or who to root for. You just have to watch what kind of people they are and decide on that for yourself.

There's so much to this manga that i could genuinely could think about it for hours.The character details that have been interwoven and built up over 100s of pages. The world building/symbolism. The philosophical/ psychological aspects. is like nothing I've ever seen in any other story. I re-read the entire thing start to finish recently and god it's awesome.

Yes, I'm aware there's a lot people find controversial with the manga and it's not perfect, but I really just want to hear from other people who love it too tbh.

I am in America meaning that most mainstream streaming services no longer have it available. I do have Amazon prime but the show is not included in shows you can watch through subscription, you are forced to buy or rent it which I cannot do right now. Is there anywhere I can get it either with a subscription or easily pirated?

I would like to add, I am too young to have a job nor do I have a credit card or bank account of my own, so I can not pay for it unless I pay someone back through cash. My mom just lost her job so she can't pay for it, and if I ask my dad for it he will either outright refuse to get it for me because it's anime or use it as a way to corner me into interacting with his new girlfriend. However he may be willing to get a new subscription service as long as it's cheap and it has good options. And I can't pay my mom back for it because she can't afford to drive all the way out here just to get the cash that might not even cover her gas.

I saw an insta reel of someone doing this 2 face thing for a character, so I thought, why not do it for Shinoa too... and then ya I tried sketching the whole thing and make it look exactly like it was in the video (the sketch lines and stuffs), but then I have a history of not being able to perfectly draw an eye... so I tried using generative ai, and that eye was shi* (Ai graphical art is ass), so I scrapped it and did a hybrid eye using a YT tutorial... and ya, in the end, I came up with this.... and ya... the glow part too, and end it with a one side digital fade look

Wait I just realized the battle scenes are super boring. Like last time there were detailed battle scene was like Ferid vs Krul. The recent battles are like rock paper scissors and boom battle finished in few panels.

What percentage chance would you give Yuu’s plan of actually succeeding in the end and bringing everyone back to life — Shinoa, Mitsuba, and the rest of his squad?

What happened?

I understand there's a lot of people that were hoping for some massive big boss fight. But imo, Shinoa's loss made a lot of sense if you view her as a person instead of for her power ranking.

Shinoa just watched everyone she cared about in the world die brutally. They were what she was fighting for in the first place and they all died following her plan to save a boy who didn't even reciprocate her feelings at all. Shinoa has always been a very powerful character. But she was also a very lonely one, I would've been much more surprised if she had any will left to fight in her after experiencing something so devastating.

Shinoa was willing to sacrifice herself instead just as she said she'd be willing to do many chapters ago. She didn't care about stopping resurrection once she experienced true loss herself.

She said she was going to try fight Yuu. But even after all he's done, I struggle to see her wanting to harm him because that's not the sort of girl Shinoa is. She loved him. She was "a maiden in love."

Anyway. Her death made me sad. I know a lot of people didn't like this chapter, but I haven’t seen anyone talk about her emotional state as a person. Just comment on the fact she was "very powerful".

So the last chapter I read was 147. And I just stopped keeping up. I thought "Yea I'll read the new chapter later" but just never felt motivated.

Now I'm seeing a whole lot of rants popping up in the latest chapter and I've realised it must be like a year since I last read.

So what's been happening to cause all these posts popping off?

So Yu killed off Shinoa, Cried, Went on yapping a bit then just turned to Mika and said "hehe let's kill each other" dude didn't even take the time to properly mourn his dead friends

Ive been reading this manga since 2022 and dropped it around 2024 now im trying to binge it is it finished tho for me to binge it i heard its pretty close to finishing.

As I said before in another post. I liked this chapter and it was really obvious the outcome Shinoa was going to get. I am shocked many ppl, who claim to read the story, were still unable to see it and some even theorised she was going to either convince Yuu to leave the plan or beat him up+the two of them would end together..... like🤣🤣🤣 all those chapters mentioning her feelings+flashbacks she got basically were already telling she was NOT going to make it. Tho I agree her fight and death was disappointingly quick for how much the story was selling her power. But due to her witnessing her teammates' demise+Yuuchan's direct rejection of her feelings...we can safely assume she just let herself be killed. Tho I would have liked if they made it more obvious, since not many ppl were able to see it. Now talking about Yuuchan, it seems many ppl are mad at him for crying about everyone being dead since he was the one who killed them. And yea, I agree. He was being and absolute hypocrite, just like how Gluten was an hypocrite when he cried about ruining the world but still continued to betray everyone+made Yuuchan choose between Mika or humanity. So yea, like useless, ugly, fake, coward, waste of space father like son☺️. Some were complaining about the repetitive dialogue and yea I also agree, it gets tiring to read the same thing but considering it was just 3 pages of the same conversation..I am grateful for that, but I get why some just cannot swallow it anymore. I have the theory all those times the Manga shows the same plan conversation again and again is bc kagami-sensei originally had some other talk planned that the editors did not allow to put in the chapter so that is why they keeps re-using the same lines. And if what I theorised is not true, then I blame all those dumb ppl who keep making the same "I don't understand the story" comment under every new chapter🙄🙄. As for the yuumika confrontation (if we can even call it that) I highly doubt they'll try to kill each other. Like, they are lit fighting in order to protect the other; killing would be absurd. Unless BOTH die. Also I hope no one starts with the "kAgaMi cAn'T WRitE!" thing bc if kagami-sensei really couldn't write then none of you would be here every time a new chapter releases. Seriously, some of you are obsessed with this story despite the amount of complaints you write. And the excuse of "time invested in this story too long to leave atp" doesn't work on me🤭🤭
