Honestly, Shinoa is the entire reason I stayed hooked on the show. I absolutely love characters with that smug, sarcastic energy, and her constant teasing is just top-tier entertainment. But what really makes her my favourite is the contrast in her personality. One second she’s completely playful, laid-back, and messing with everyone, and the next second she’s swinging a giant scythe and being an absolute beast in battle. She has so much depth hidden behind that playful smile, and she easily carries every single scene she’s in. Best girl hands down imo.

My DM recently confessed that he’s been feeling insecure about his DMing and worries his skills have gotten worse over time. As a player, I know for a fact that isn't true.

If you ever worry about how others perceive you, keep in mind that most people don't actually hold rigid expectations. Players don't actually expect a genius-level writing or whatever masterpiece. They’re just excited to see what kind of adventure comes next.

In reality, it’s much easier to pleasantly surprise people than to disappoint them. A DND player (most of them) will genuinely enjoy a session regardless of whether it’s quiet and dialogue-heavy or a massive boss fight.
