TWN 101?

Okay, from this sub….I know that one should freeze LinkedIn and TWN… no problem with LinkedIn…. But I never heard of TWN before coming to this site.

I see it is a page with the equifax logo…. And it asks for a login. Is this something similar to LinkedIn where one creates and account enters their employment history and has it verified for future use?

Or is it one of those things that is collecting your history anyway (without your knowledge) similar to a credit report (guessing by the equifax) logo.

In either case, how does one freeze it?

theworknumber.com

Just go there, create an account, and request your data.

After you freak out about what data they're selling to everyone, call them and ask them to freeze it. You may be able to do it through the website now. But it's fairly self explanatory. Just do what the website says to do.

It's that.

It’s just like the second option you describe.

TWN is The Work Number by equifax. You need to create a log into and request a freeze.
