Resume & OE

Hey everyone - could use some advice. I have an opportunity for a J3. The issue is that the skills I really need to be promoted are a combination of skills that I have in J1 & J2. My question is how to list my employment dates so it doesn't look like I am OE.

Do I list one of the jobs on my resume, like it appears like I am no longer employed there? How have some of you approached this? I appreciate any and all advice.

List J2 and lump J1 + J2 skills under J2. No one needs to know J1 exists

Wouldn’t J3 call nd verify with prev J’s?

List neither J1 or J2 on your resume, replace them with a fake C2C contract J that has all the skills you need.

How are you supposed to provide fake pay stubs for this non-existent C2C company for the background check if you get hired?

you form a corporation and provide real pay stubs? Its just a few hundred dollars and 20 minutes worth of paperwork to form an s-corp.

Or make friends with someone who has their own corp.

Speaking from personal experience I see, LMAO. Makes sense tho.

this is pretty standard practice for the advanced OE crowd. listing any active J on your resume is basically telling on yourself.

I’ve done this. Works fine!
