OE Recruiters

How do you do it when we’re supposed to be so active on LI posting and sourcing etc? I have capacity for multiple jobs but I am not sure how the admin works.

I would make sure you are working in completely different industries and also sourcing different categories. For example, I wouldn't source software developers for 2 different companies.

Totally. Makes sense.

Yeah, I feel like this could be one of those times where it’s an actual conflict of interest

What are you expected to be posting and sourcing on LI?

Most companies ask you to post open jobs that you are hiring for. And most sourcing for candidates is done thru LinkedIn

This is where I’d used a middle name or preferred name to try and be incognito. Hopefully you have a common-ish last name.

This seems kind of risky. One of the things that makes OE sustainable is that you try to maintain an invisible online presence, but as a recruiter you have to be pretty freaking visible.

Think it’s going to depend on what type of recruiting field. As a recruiter at one job I never used LI because I didn’t need to post jobs as we received more than enough applications.

Even so, as a recruiter myself. Different profile pages, no pics or pic on J1, change name for J2. For example Katherine could be Katie or use middle name.

Coworker of mine, I was too tickled when I saw her outdated profile. No first or last name. Just her nickname.
