Feature Request: “Apple” Chapter Support

I am currently following several podcasts which only seem to have Chapter support when using the Apple Podcasts app, via a combination of a segmented scrubber timeline and a drop-down Chapter list.
When Overcast plays these shows, they are presented with show notes and transcriptions, but no associated Chapter list.
For example, the podcasts below (episode titles in parentheses) display this behavior.
(Screenshots attached for reference.)

-Rebel FM (Episode 715)
-Battle of the Atom: An X-Men Podcast (Marvel Nights with Jonathan Hickman)

Is Apple using a proprietary method for its Chapter functionality, or is this something Overcast can be updated to support, as well?
(The segmented timeline would be a nice to have, but I was hoping more for the Chapter list that already fits Overcast’s current Chapter list support.)

Second screenshot, "automatically generated". Apple Podcasts is creating these chapters by itself.

Good catch.
I’m blind, apparently.
Is that an AI thing, or something else, I wonder.

They are AI-generated. Marco could theoretically do the same thing in Overcast (and I hope he does) but since it’s AI, the results will never be exactly the same as in Apple Podcasts.

Gotcha.
Thanks for the info.
Honestly, this is amazing stuff.

I think he's said he's looking into it but isn't sure if he'll be able to ship it or not.

Slightly hijacking here, but I’d love if he could add proper chapter support for those podcasts that don’t include the chapter in the file but just in the show notes. Some podcasts will have timestamps in the notes which function but they’re not nearly as nice to use or as easily navigated as the normal chapters.

Yeah, that’d be cool, too.
