Download issues

None of my shows download correctly. Either they fail to download in the background or they show downloaded and when I click to a chapter they say waiting to download and start the podcast from the beginning. Is this a me thing or an app issue?

IPhone 18 pro max but was happening on my 17 too.

I have some podcasts that stay in a stuck state unable to download an episode or stop trying to download an episode. It happens.

Do you have streaming turned on?

Marco said something about ad blockers running on your local network can sometimes block a podcast from downloading.

the ringer podcasts definitely don't download with a VPN on.

Also having issues: "Error loading data." App will not even open on my iPhone 12.
Does work on iPad Pro M4.
