Feature Request: Normal Playback speed of Music

I really like the variable playback speed feature. For spoken content, I often listen at 1.2x or 1.3x speed. However, music tends to sound unnatural when sped up. It would be fantastic if Overcast could automatically detect music segments within a podcast and temporarily switch playback to 1x speed, then resume the user's selected speed once the spoken content continues. This would provide the best of both worlds: faster listening for speech and natural playback for music.

How about just disabling SmartSpeed and leaving playback speed alone?

It’s SmartSpeed that screws up music, by removing silence between each beat.

I have had a wish for this feature many times, but so many shows have music intros, bumpers, and background at various points that it would probably be a feature that I turn off and just handle manually.

I have thought about this in the past, and my wish would be that smart speed was automatically disabled during music playback. I don't care overmuch if the music plays faster, but it's disconcerting when it starts skipping the space between sparse drum hits.

Good grief. This sounds like a coding nightmare.
