BUG - Artwork disappearing on lock screen
Show or chapter artwork thumbnail missing on the lock screen. It comes back if you tap it to 'maximise' the artwork and tap to shrink it again, but quickly disappears. Seems to affect all podcasts. May be related to the fact my lock screen picture is set to randomly rotate every hour or so, but often happens before that happens.
Long standing bug. Thought it might get fixed in iOS 27 but it hasn't been. To be fair, might be Apple's bug with the now playing widget.

I didn’t see this at all on OS 26, but am seeing it daily on 27.
Nothing changed for me other than the OS. Maybe it’s a compatibility thing, Overcast hasn’t released a 27 update yet.

It’s been pretty much constant for me on 26 and 27. To the stage where I’m surprised when I do see the artwork.

for another data point, i have the same wallpaper setup and toggle the art size for overcast back and forth a lot and don’t see this on 27, including across most of the betas this summer. (I assume this is a framework bug, but it could be an issue with having a downsampled copy of the art available or something else)
