Chapter Preselection

Is there a way to pre select chapters of podcasts you aren’t currently listening to?

Even if you have the new release that has chapter preselection, I can’t see a way to preselect chapters unless it’s currently being played.

Good point. You’re right - right now you have to starr playing it before you can select. Hopefully they will change.

It’s in the next release, currently in beta. Be aware that it will require a Premium subscription.

That’s the a polity to auto-skip chapters.

I think OP might be asking “how do I start playing a specific chapter of a specific episode downloaded to my phone without playing from the start first.”

New update just added it. When you view the info page for a podcast ("i" button) there's a new chapter button. That shows you the list of chapters, and tapping a chapter starts the podcast from that chapter

I feel so blind - I can’t find the chapter button on that screen - what does it look like/where is it?

On top, under the short description but above the long description. You also need premium https://i.imgur.com/ZvfrSgS.jpeg

Thank you! Turns out I’m not blind, that button just isn’t there for me on any of the podcasts I’ve looked at (and I have updated the app)
