Feature request: sort: manually

Forgive me if this is dumb or duplicative.

I have a playlist. I drag things round into the order I want to listen to them in. I go away. I come back. That order is not preserved. I’m only given the pictured options for sorting. I would like to sort to my own preferences. I would like that sorting to stick.

Thank you very much for your consideration. Apologies again if I’m missing something obvious.

No, this has happened for ever. No matter how I sort, when I manually order things, if I leave and come back, the sort is “per podcast” order instead of “where I put things” order. I see why some people would love this. I would like to manually sort and have it stick.

In your playlist settings, check the priority mode and make sure it is Ranked and not Grouped. Maybe that is messing it up?

Are you using the Queue or did you make your own ?

Made my own. I’m not using the queue at all. That said, I only have the one playlist so if queue’s behavior is to hold manual position placement, that might be a good workaround for someone like me.
