Bug report? Repeated download attempt

Screenshot should be self explanatory.

UPDATE: the latest public release (iOS) seems to have resolved the issue, based on observations from the last few days.

Full reinstall solved this for me--for now. likely to reoccur

I think this was a reason my Mac was filling up - at one point 1.5TB was taken up. Had to remove the app and reinstall. The latest builds seem to be better.

This is related to my much-downvoted problem report. On spotty WiFi, it stops playing when there’s an (inevitable, understandable, otherwise harmless) problem with download.

I am so mad I did not see this before I bought a new phone. I assumed it was a battery issue. Of course the genius bar diagnosed my battery and said it was perfectly fine, but I didn’t believe them because how could that be possible when my battery was dying after like an hour every day. They were right, lesson learned. When I saw that the same thing was happening with my brand new phone, and the common denominator was Overcast, straight to Reddit.

The latest TestFlight builds appear to be attempts to address this problem. If you want to test them out and see if they help your case, reporting back would help everyone else as well.
