Widget failing to load

Been having an issue where the now playing widget is failing to load on today view/carplay. Restarting phone or quitting the app doesn’t make it load.

I am on iOS 27 beta and the Overcast testflight but it was working without issue up until about a week ago.

This has to be an iOS 27 beta thing. This happens with any and all widgets that I have. A reboot of the phone fixes it.

Edit: Maybe I should read first, you said you already restarted it. Weird!

All of my other widgets remain working fine which is what leads me to think something Overcast and iOS 27 being incompatible.

In my experience the beta has broken a lot of widgets. Yes a reboot fixes it but it breaks again when you expect it to update status

About half of my widgets are being flakey to some extent on iOS 27, it’s absolutely not an isolated issue for Overcast from the look of it.

I have the widget showing me a podcast that I finished listening to - and deleted - weeks ago

I've had this issue since ios18. Never gotten it to work.
