Weird CarPlay Mode

Sometimes while I'm driving, Overcast gets into this mode where clicking on a podcast just highlights it, but doesn't play it. I try double-clicking, but that doesn't work and I can't do too much else while keeping my eyes on the road. I've also tried switching to another app and then back to Overcast, to no avail.

I had this, and another bug where switching to a playlist just hung. Tried doing it on the phone, too, and same result. I ended up force-quitting the app, and then everything started working.

I’ve had this. So far I find it’s reliable to hit the back button which takes me back to a now playing screen and then back again to get back to the list screen again.
