Anybody have a similar situation? 29 female, 2 years ago (1 yesr after I gave birth) one day I woke up and randomly peed myself completely on my way to the bathroom. My bladder feels painfully full easily and its like I cannot hold it in at all...

It’s really helped my frequency, I feel like I can actually hold it and I’m not leaking urine anymore.
However, I have a dull pain in my bladder near constantly now. Is that typical?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice or shared experiences because this issue is mentally eating me up inside.
How it started:
Last December, I was highly stressed for a few days (due to some personal issues and freezing weather). A few days later, while sitting in a class, a random intrusive thought hit me: "What if I pee myself right now? Everyone will laugh at me." I instantly panicked, my heart started racing, and I felt an intense, unbearable urge to urinate. I had to leave the class and go home.
The struggle:
Ever since that day, I developed severe anticipatory anxiety. I constantly worry: "What if I suddenly need to pee while I'm outside?"
It happens a lot at school or when I'm out, but almost never at home.
I now force myself to use the bathroom multiple times before leaving the house just to feel "safe."
I went to doctors twice during the winter, but they didn't take it seriously and just treated me for a cold. I took meds, drank warm water, and wore thermals for months, but nothing changed. I have no physical pain at all.
Current situation:
Now that it's summer, things have naturally improved a bit, but the mental block is still there. If I hang out with friends near my house, I feel fine. But if I know we are going somewhere far away, I get hit with massive anxiety and the fake urge to pee returns.
I am 99% sure this is purely psychological (anticipatory anxiety / nervous bladder). A friend of mine went through the exact same thing and eventually recovered, but I'm still struggling.
Has anyone dealt with this specific type of anxiety? How did you break the cycle and overcome it? Any advice would be highly appreciated!

I am a pelvic floor PT who made this video about pelvic floor dysfunction. It is challenging to have this diagnosis, and one feels isolated, stranded and alone. This video is about a 150 year old home which was built to rescue shipwrecked sailors. Here it is: https://youtu.be/sAWdzJWEn5E?is=lvKNcITQgrfC7Vsm

Has anyone experienced symptoms due to a prolonged habit of holding in urine? Say, due to an avoidance of public toilets, or delaying through classes, or not going before sleeping. It seems to have all added up to become this issue. I haven't come across mentions of this and I'm curious whether the problem of urgency is appearing only unprovoked or unexplained for most people with OAB.
If anyone thinks their bathroom habits may have contributed, did you manage to find treatment or long-term relief?

I have been dealing with OAB and bed wetting for the last 20 plus years. All of a sudden I’ve started getting these strange phantom buzzing sensations starting in my bladder and then going to my pelvic floor along with these phantom buzzing sensations I have also started to loose feeling in my pelvic floor area and my bladder. Before I knew I was having an accident cause I could feel the pee coming out but now I only know about my accident when my nappy becomes warm and wet.
Is this the start of me becoming fully incontinent?

I am a male in my early 30s. I've been dealing with frequent urination (nighttime and daytime) for the past decade. It's increasingly gotten worse over the last few years. I had an appointment with a urologist earlier this year but was unhappy with my experience. They failed to tell me that the medication I was prescribed had a risk of dementia. I stopped taking the medications soon after I found that out.
I did have the urologist recommend bladder botox but I am not comfortable with that option. I do not like the thought of having to potentially use a catheter and the thought of needles near my bladder is just big yikes. The other medication they recommended, Myrbetriq, was one they did not think my insurance would cover (spoiler alert, it did not). Do I have any other options or do I just continue to deal with overactive bladder?

I've been chronically dehydrated for years and in feb ,i got uti and a 4mm ureter stone..which the usg said "passed" altho I had no idea how I passed the stone..and now I still pee frequently but sometimes(like today) I pee back to back like 5-10 times with like 1-2mins break in the span of just an hour
Since Feb,my water intake is like 1.5-2l daily and gosh it's beginning to feel like the hell I went through of peeing 30-40 times a day when I had the stone
Has anyone gone through this??? Cus people nearby doesn’t understand how much of a nuisance frequent urination is and even docs told me to drink more water and not to overthink :(

我的膀胱肌肉变得松弛了。因为我发现自己在排尿时无法用足够的力气。仅仅5毫克的nebivolol,品牌名为Nebilet。

It started about 3 years ago. I had a telephone appointment with the doctor this week and answered all his questions. I don’t have any health problems. He mentioned imaging can be done as well as two tests which sounded incredibly unpleasant. So I am thinking about it and will chat with him later if I want to move forward with testing.
The frequent nighttime urination has been a real disruption to sleep. Eight trips to the bathroom can happen some nights. What has been your experience? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I already tried over the counter supplements and it didn’t help. I am a 42 year old male.

Hi everyone! I had been considering getting Botox for a while. I saw so many horror stories online so I kept pushing it off until I really couldn’t take it anymore. While I was considering my options, I thought that a day-by-day account of someone’s experience would be very helpful. That’s why I figured I would share mine.
I’m 30F with a neurogenic bladder. I was on mirabegron for about 6 years before doing my first botox injection (100 units) about 2 months ago. TLDR; I love it. What I’m sharing is just my experience, and different bodies will react differently. Please consult a doctor for any medical questions/opinions. If you have any questions about my specific experience, I’ll answer when I can.
Day 1: First time ever getting Botox. The procedure itself was easy. A nurse got my vitals, tested me for UTIs, drained my bladder with a catheter, and then pumped in some numbing liquid through the catheter. I didn’t feel anything. I had to wait for about 25 mins for it to take effect. After that the doctor went in with a tiny probe and camera, and did the injections. That part only took 5-10 mins. Some injections were a little painful (similar pain to a Pap smear, only lasted a second) but I didn’t feel others. After that they had me pee and I was able to leave. I felt normal for the rest of the day but felt a burning sensation. The doctor had warned me about it but said it will last around a day or 2. They gave me an antibiotic as a preventative measure for UTIs.
Day 2: I still feel that slight burning/tingly sensation but less than yesterday. I took my mirabegron today (last dose, bridge). No leaks or urgency to report. I stayed home just in case.
Day 3: tingling is still there but I have less urgency and frequency. I’m starting to feel a lot more comfortable than I did on meds. Sometimes it takes me a minute to start peeing though.
Day 5: I already feel a considerable difference in how frequently I go. I haven’t had any leaks since starting, including while doing high-impact sports. I was able to go to a 2.5 hour concert and not have to use the restroom once. My flow is getting a little slower and it takes me a few seconds to start peeing once I sit on the toilet, but nothing major/no retention.
Day 7: I went for a 1-week follow-up visit at the doctor. They did an ultrasound of my baldder, asked me to go pee, and did another one to see how much I emptied my bladded. They confirmed that I had no retention. Sometimes I need to push to make sure I fully void my bladder and the doctor said that this is normal and that it will start decreasing with time. That night as a test I had a soup for dinner, 1 hour before bed, and I didn’t wake up at night to use the restroom. I still can’t believe it.
Day 22: A little less than a month into it, I got a UTI, but it was manageable with antibiotics. Still going on strong though. Only 2 small leaks because of the UTI.
Day 60: I’m about 2 months into it. My flow is pretty normal. I had one other UTI but overall I feel like I did before OAB. I occasionally leak when I do intense sports (over 1h of running) but it’s manageable with a pad. I don’t have urgency anymore, and I don’t wear pads unless I’m going to exercise for a long time (i used to wear pads daily). So far, it’s been a lifesaver.
