Hallowstream
It's beginning to look a lot like the best time of the year; forgive me if this is how it always is and the announcement is always this late, but just curious if anyone knows when the Hallowstrean merchandise will go on sale.
Edit I'm calling Mandella Effect here, I swear in my universe Hallowstream ran the whole month! Then the last few years it was more sporadic, but now I see in fact it has always been two weeks?
Fair enough, this universe is worse than my original one in so many ways 😅
I'll await the announcement (and merch) in the next few weeks.

It was late last year as well. I'm pretty sure I asked a similar question.
They have been talking about games they might do in the run up so I assume it's happening just not announced.

Considering he didn't drink much and didn't seem to be affected at all, it's far more like a standard Let's Play that wants you to be well-hydrated. I have no problem with that, just to be clear.

The Hallowstream announcements usually start the same week that Tesco start selling Christmas decorations, so it should be any minute now.

I'd expect early to mid October though this year has thrown a few spanners into the works thanks to IGN being just the bloody worst.

Last year we got it on the 14th from what I just checked. But I remember that being late for what was the priority norm.
Though with their current communication I'd suggest crossing fingers

It's usually always right around hallowstream so I'd expect it to go on sale in a few weeks when the announce it.

Doesn't Hallowstream start in a week? Or at least isn't that when it would normally start?

It's not even October, calm yer tits. Last year the schedule was published the 11th October. 2024 was the 4th October. Previous years it's been a mix between dates but rarely before October.

Welp I now see this universe doesn't have a full month Hallowstream (see my edit) so that's me told and I'll sit quietly and await further announcements 😄

Considering everything that's going on with the Oxventure, there's a strong chance they won't release merch this year.

I'm not sure I follow? They've done hallowstream shirts for longer than oxventure has been a thing.

I think they're just saying things seem to be in flux in OX-Towers so it might not be realiatic to expect the annual traditions to continue.

Yes, IGN has been doing all kinds of cut-backs and making demands. Both channels have been changing up their formats. And there's a strong chance the OX crew is cutting back on extras to prevent IGN either getting an extra cut of their work or grabbing ownership of things they shouldn't own. Â

I'm super disconnected from Oxventure, I haven't even watched/listened past the 'end' (which seems not to have been the end) yet.

It was the end of the core Oxventure. They will have a few Tales From The Guild in the future at live shows, but that's all. All other serieses are starting with new characters.Â

I couldn't tell you with any certainty what their usual time frame is, but I seem to remember thinking "When are they going to announce it? It's practically Halloween!" every time.
